MANNY Pacquiao returns to Cebu today for the birthday celebration of Cebu City Mayor Tomas Osmeña.
Pacquiao’s close friend and confidante, Rex “Wakee” Salud, said Pacquiao will sing a song for Osmeña during the mayor’s celebration tonight at the SM City Trade Hall.

Aside from the boxer’s presence, his mother is also expected to steal the show today.
Pacquiao’s mother, Dionesia, has slowly etched a name for herself with her dancing skills.
Dionesia was scheduled to arrive late last night after a stint at a noontime show in Manila, while Manny will arrive at 2 p.m. today.
According to Salud, Dionesia will also give a dance number tonight.
“Our mayor will really enjoy his birthday because Manny will sing and his mom will also dance,” Salud told Sun.Star Superbalita.
Meanwhile, Pacquiao said he is excited to start training for his Nov. 15 (RP time) fight against Miguel Cotto in Las Vegas.
“I already accepted the fight against Cotto on Nov. 14 and I’m excited to start training,” Pacquiao said in his column at Philboxing.com.
Pacquiao said he is spending his remaining free time with his family before starting on an eight-week preparation.
“I still have a long time left before I start training so I am spending it with my family,” Pacquiao wrote.
