Pacquiao in ESPN's Body Issue
Here's Manny's shot from ESPN Magazine's "The Body" issue, which I have to say is one of the more lame, bogus conceits for soft porn I've seen in a long time. It doesn't exactly deliver either. Most of the pictures are not particularly flattering, artistically striking, or (worst of all) titillating in the least. And they're all accompanied by this terrible text with lines like, "Adrian Peterson, can we borrow your shoulders? Imagine the brick walls we could break through with those things. Dwight Howard, how about your arms? What heights we could reach." Who wrote that crap? Sheesh man, save it for the fourth-grade play.
Anyway, above is the Pacquiao picture ("Manny, can we borrow your nipples? What nipples we would have!") and here's the accompanying text, a quote from, who else, Freddie Roach:
"Manny has two advantages over his opponents. He's in better shape, and he'll take a punch. He averages 3,000 sit-ups and 44 sparring rounds per day; he runs about eight miles every other morning, uphill. I don't know what it is, but there's something inside of him. When he gets hit, he taps his gloves together as if to say, "Here I come." He gets after an opponent after he takes a shot, as if he liked it."
