The November 14 undercard must have been put together by the Chicago 2016 Olympic Committee because not even President Obama or Oprah could help it.
The main event and three scheduled TV undercard fights reported by Dan Rafael at espn.com are:
Miguel Cotto vs. Manny Pacquiao
Julio Cesar Chavez, Jr. (40-0-1) vs. Troy Howland (25-2-7)
Daniel Santos vs. Yuri Foreman
Jesus Soto Karass vs. Alfonso Gomez
I don't know if I would even call this JC Chavez's pro debut. Chavez is certainly here to address the huge Mexican fight fan population and Yuri Foreman will be responsible for the Jewish boxing population. Relax!
Maybe I'm expecting too much, but I'd be happy if it's just a bit better than the Mayweather-Marquez undercard. As long as I'm watching the main event around 11:00 PM Central Time. As long as Rocky Juarez isn't in a court-ordered world title fight rematch. You get the idea.
