Pacman to score knockout
We polled our readers on what they thought the outcome of the upcoming Pacquiao-Cotto fight would be and wow did they speak volumes! No one thinks this fight will go the distance. 61% of our readers believe Manny Pacquaio will win by knockout while 39% say Cotto will score the knockout victory.
I’m with the readers and believe this fight will end in a knockout and I agree it will be Manny Pacquiao scoring the knockout in the 10th round. I’m really jacked for this fight and can not wait until fight night.
No Macho Time
We asked our readers if they would be buying the Hector Camacho Jr. - Yori Boy Campas PPV last weekend. And just as I thought not one of them said they were going to buy it. I almost believe that, but I also know some boxing fans just can’t go without ordering every PPV. Maybe it’s a boring Friday or Saturday night and you happen to come across the order screen and hit the purchase button and now you are enjoying a night of fights. I don’t know if you could call it enjoying but you are watching boxing at least. If you bought this PPV you will once again feel ashamed when the bill comes in the mail and you actually have to pay for it.
Floyd Mayweather vs Paul Williams???
We wanted to know who you would like to see Paul Williams fight next besides Kelly Pavlik and the answer was Floyd Mayweather. 60% of you want to see “Money†Mayweather in the ring against Paul Williams. 20% feel it should be Sergio Martinez, while Manny Pacquiao and Andre Berto each received 10% of the votes. Now, my take is simple, will Paul Williams move back down in weight to face Mayweather? Will the fight be at 147 or 154? While many of you want to see this fight I hope you are not holding your breath waiting on it to happen. They’ll both be fighting again in the new year but not against each other.
Tomasz Adamek is fighter of the week
Tomasz Adamek was voted fighter of the week with 57% of the readers nods while Ryan Rhodes received 43%. Adamek and Andrew Golota fought in a “Super Fight†in Poland with Adamek stopping the former heavyweight contender. Adamek is now a threat in two weight divisions. We shall see.
You got it wrong
We asked who did our readers liked in the Joseph Agbeko vs Yohnny Perez fight and for the first time in a while our readers got it wrong. 67% picked Agbeko to win this bout while only 33% had faith in Perez. I’ll let it slide this time, Facebook friends, but let's not make this an ugly trend.
